Seeing as it just started happening out of nowhere after a year, I'd hazard a guess that it's some kind of dirt or dust buildup within the mouse that's causing issues. The first Naga I owned (the original from 2009) also had problems with the scroll wheel, but with that one, it was that the wheel-click button became less and less sensitive, requiring a very firm press to activate it. The Naga Hex works with Razer Synapse 2.0, a customization dashboard that lets you configure your mouse, adjust the DPI sensitivity and acceleration. That's the one I'm using now, and just like the original, it worked fine for about a year before the mousewheel started getting this jittery-scroll problem. This happened with the previous 2012 Naga that I owned, and I ended up sending it back to Razer and they sent me a "refurbished" one. Like if I'm scrolling down, it'll randomly throw in a single up-scroll amidst all the down-scroll inputs, causing a really jittery scrolling. Yet again, my 2012 Naga is having an issue with its wheel, in that when I scroll, it randomly inputs in the opposite direction of my scrolling. Seems to be a theme with Nagas, from my experience.
